Referral programme: three steps
All you need is a Castfold account. The referral programme costs nothing extra and is open to every account.

Pick your code
In the settings under "Referral programme" you switch yourself on and pick a unique code made of letters and digits.

Share your address
Castfold turns it into your referral address. It leads to this website instead of a bare sign-up form: your audience reads what Castfold is first, and the code stays remembered until they sign up. The same area shows your referred accounts, their revenue and your share.

These values apply to every account that switches itself on. Integration partners have their own terms from their agreement. You set up your payout account once in the app under "Referrals → Payouts"; Stripe checks identity and bank account for that. We review the first payout by hand, after that it runs automatically.
Worked example
10 referred accounts with 5 channels each, 20 % commission on the net channel fees:

Channel fees incl. 19 % VAT; the commission is calculated on the net amount (terms, annex § 2). AI credits and studio usage do not count toward the commission base. What actually adds up depends on how many channels the referred accounts pay for.
Integration partners: Castfold inside your tool
You have a tool that produces videos? Your customers create an access key for you in Castfold, and your "Send to Castfold" button pushes video and metadata into scheduling. Effort on your side: one button.
Access keys with partner rights
We create you as a partner and give your key exactly the rights your connection needs. Your customers see it in their settings and can revoke it at any time.
Attribution without a referral address
An account belongs to you as soon as it connects through your key for the first time. You do not have to place a link anywhere.
Terms from your agreement
The referral programme values are the baseline (20 % for 12 months). For connections with real volume we talk about share and duration; what applies is written in your partner agreement.
Set up together
After your enquiry we settle rights, a test account and the first import together. From then on the connection runs without us.
Apply as an integration partner
Tell us which tool you want to connect and how many customers are behind it. We read every enquiry ourselves, answer by e-mail within a few days and set the connection up together. You do not need this form for the referral programme.
What is not allowed on either route
- Self-referral: your own accounts or your company's accounts through your own referral address.
- Ads on the brand name "Castfold" or misspellings of it in search engines and social networks.
- Spam, bought traffic, coupon and discount sites without their own content.
- Promises about growth, monetisation or earnings that Castfold does not make.
- Violations forfeit open commissions and end the collaboration.

How do I become an affiliate?
You switch yourself on; there is no application for it. Sign in to Castfold, open "Referral programme" in the settings and pick a unique code made of letters and digits. Castfold turns it into your referral address, and the same area shows your referred accounts, their revenue and your share. No account yet? Sign up first.
How do I become an integration partner?
Through the form on this page. Integration partners need an access key with partner rights and a connection to the machine API, and we set both up together – which is why we create integration partners by hand. We read every enquiry ourselves and answer by e-mail within a few days.
What is the difference between the referral programme and an integration partner?
The referral programme is open to every Castfold account – you refer with your address and take a share of what referred accounts pay. Integration partners are vendors with a tool of their own who connect Castfold for their customers; their accounts are attributed through the access key, and their terms are set in their agreement.
How long do I earn commission?
In the referral programme 20 % for 12 months from the referred account's sign-up, month after month, on the paid channel fees (channels in the subscription). AI credits and their use in the video studio do not count toward the commission base. Integration partners can have different values from their partner agreement.
Does the referred person get something too?
Yes. Anyone who signs up through your referral address gets another 5 € on top of the 5 € starter credit, 10 € in total. Both expire 30 days after being granted.
How is a referred account attributed?
In the referral programme through your referral address with its code. If someone signs up within 90 days of the click, the account is yours. For integration partners, the first connection through the access key counts. The first attribution always wins.
When do you pay out?
Monthly for the previous month via Stripe, once at least €50 of claimed commission has accrued. The claim arises 30 days after the referred account's payment; if the customer gets a refund within 180 days, we net the commission against your next payout. Smaller amounts carry over and do not lapse, and there is no payout as credit. You set up your payout account once in the app under "Referrals → Payouts", where Stripe checks identity and bank account. We review the first payout by hand. This applies on both routes.
Do I have to write my own invoice?
No. We settle your commission by self-billing credit note, so you do not have to write anything for it. Before your first payout you state your tax status once – private individual, small business, business with regular taxation (we review that beforehand) or business based abroad. If you disagree with a credit note, you can object within 14 days.
What is not allowed?
Self-referral, ads on the brand name Castfold or misspellings of it, spam, coupon sites without their own content and misleading promises about growth or earnings. This applies in the referral programme and to integration partners alike.
