One price per active channel

Yes. Choose "Import an existing channel", sign in with Google and pick the channel. Castfold first shows you the channel it found (title, handle, subscriber and video count); once you confirm it is your channel, Castfold takes over channel picture and banner, name, handle and description, every video with its title and description, and the analytics. Video files are not copied; the videos stay on YouTube. Every channel is a channel in your subscription and costs €19 per month incl. 19 % VAT, less from the fifth channel of an account (graduated price), and you see that before the import.

Every active channel costs €19 per month incl. 19 % VAT, €15 from the fifth channel of an account, €12 from the fifteenth (graduated price, example on the pricing page). That includes concepts, setup, scheduling, analytics, insights, advisor and metadata AI, up to an amount per channel and month. Only video studio usage is billed on top, by consumption against a fixed price list per clip second, still, voice minute and thumbnail.

Every price shown is a gross price incl. 19 % German VAT – exactly what you pay. Above the pricing table you can switch to net prices if you are calculating as a business. Business customers in other EU countries with a valid VAT identification number are billed without German VAT (reverse charge); add your VAT ID to your billing details for that.

A paused channel no longer counts towards your channel subscription and costs nothing – no uploads, no scheduled publications, no ongoing synchronisation with YouTube. When you reduce your channel subscription, you choose yourself which channels pause at the end of the billing month, and you can change that choice until the end of the billing month. Nothing is deleted, the connection to YouTube stays in place, and you can resume a paused channel at any time with a free spot in the subscription. If a channel stays paused for six months, Castfold disconnects it from YouTube; its data is kept.

That depends on length and scene sources. Billing follows a fixed price list per clip second, still, voice minute and thumbnail; as an example, a 20 s Short starts at about €2 and a 5 min long-form video at about €15, each incl. 19 % VAT. Before every run the studio shows the maximum price, which you confirm; you're never charged more, and afterwards you see the actual amount. You can limit AI video clips to hook, turning point and payoff and fill the rest with stills.

No, that usage is included in the price of your channel subscription, up to an amount per channel and month (see "What's included in the channel price for AI?"). Only studio usage is billed (video clips, images, voice, music, thumbnails, script).

Per booked channel and calendar month you get 20 channel concepts, 60 AI advisor questions, 150 metadata suggestions (title, description, tags), 10 channel images and 100 studio ideas and voice suggestions; more channels grow the amount accordingly, and it renews on the 1st of every month. Without a channel subscription you can create and plan channels and get a smaller amount to try the product (10 channel concepts, 8 channel images, 10 metadata suggestions, 20 studio ideas, no AI advisor), plus a trial video from the starter credit; you book a channel only when you connect it to YouTube. Video generation in the studio is separate and stays billed from your credit.

Yes. Every new account gets 5 € credit for free. Sign up through a referral address and another 5 € is added, 10 € in total. The credit is used up last, after any paid credit, and expires 30 days after being granted.

Yes, in the app through fixed packages – 25 €, 50 €, 100 € (preselected), 250 € or 500 € credit, net, with extra credit of 0, 0, 5, 8 or 12 % from 100 € upward. The price incl. 19 % VAT is 29.75 €, 59.50 €, 119.00 €, 297.50 € or 595.00 €. A new account's first top-up is capped at 50 €, without extra credit yet.

Yes, and it is off by default – you switch it on yourself in the app under Billing. You pick a threshold between €10 and €250 credit (€25 suggested) and a package from €50, with the same volume bonus as a manual top-up. In the first 30 days after your first top-up it is capped at €150 per day, afterwards at most three automatic top-ups and €1,000 per day, at least ten minutes apart. Only the card you first topped up with is charged; after two failed charges in a row it switches itself off and you get an e-mail. Because the credit becomes available right away, Castfold asks you once for your express consent to that when you switch it on – without it, automatic top-up cannot be activated. Every automatic top-up gets an invoice and an order confirmation; switching off works immediately at any time.

Yes, you do both yourself in the application under Account. The export gives you a ZIP with your channel, video, analytics and studio data and, for the account owner, invoices and credit history. To delete you confirm with a code sent by e-mail; afterwards channels, content and YouTube connections are removed immediately, a running channel subscription ends at the end of the billing month, and unused paid credit is refunded. We keep invoices and credit bookings for as long as tax and commercial law require (see privacy policy).
